Context
With modern equipment and after the intial (and somewhat steep) learning curve aquisition of data for deep sky astrophotography is relatively straightforward:
1. Plan your target,
2. Program a sequence
3. Let the computer execute the sequence against the target.
4. Spend far too much time processing the image.
When people see images of the night sky it is very difficult to visualise and contextualise what they are seeing. My interest lies in taking multiple images or video with a variety of image scales or color schemes to try and give them context...
